With my new motherboard and CPU installed word is now telling me a need to activate it to continue using it. Was the old license tied to my old mother board? If so is there anyway to transfer my license? I just recently bought the MS office license before upgrading my PC.

Also, Office Pro Plus is a volume licence and does not have an Office Account as users obtain installations from their provider. But getting error when installing since i didn,t uninstall office in my old machine which was damaged.
SE, Yes understood. Because you were unable to uninstall Office from your old computer Microsoft servers think that you are attempting install Office on two computers when you are only allowed to install it on one computer.

Turn the adapter off, and the problem arises once again. I've been doing this for over 2 years without issue. Why all of a sudden does Office decide to deactivate itself when disabling the adapter?
